St John the Divine, West Worthing
The church is situated on the corner of Elm Grove and Ripley Road. Started as a Mission room (now the South Aisle) that opened for worship on 6th January 1901. It was enlarged by the architect Norman Cachmaille-Day and the foundation stone was laid on 11th December 1936 and the church was consecrated on 8th October 1937. The church spire was added in 1966

Church of St. John the Divine, West Worthing
The church of St. John the Divine, in West Worthing, dates from the beginning of the 20th Century. The first worshippers attended the church in January 1901. The spire is more recent, dating from 1966.
The church is now Grade II listed.
