St John the Divine, West Worthing

The church is situated on the corner of Elm Grove and Ripley Road. Started as a Mission room (now the South Aisle) that opened for worship on 6th January 1901. It was enlarged by the architect Norman Cachmaille-Day and the foundation stone was laid on 11th December 1936 and the church was consecrated on 8th October 1937. The church spire was added in 1966
