Bolton Road Methodist Church
The existing Bolton Road Methodist church was replaced with this new church which opened in 2002. The sports club on the adjoining land had been sold for housing to finance the building of the new church.

Bridge over former railway between Bury and Bolton
The bridge underneath has been filled in, and any path along the former track ends here. Further east the track bed has been developed as the Daisyfield Greenway, but it doesn't get this far. The housing beyond is part of the spread along the A58.

Fusiliers Headquarters
All that remains of the former Wellington Barracks after they were demolished in the late 1960s to make way for a new housing estate. The pillar is from the original barracks wall.

Lancashire Fusiliers Headquarters
Last remains of the Wellington Barracks after they were demolished to make way for new housing in the late 1960s. This building was in use as a regimental museum until recently, when the museum transferred to the centre of Bury.

The space where the Lutyens memorial used to stand in front of the museum (Image]) is now empty as that too has been transferred to the town centre.
