Eagley Mills - Bridge Mill
The oldest building in this complex, this was built around 1780 as a water powered textile mill. It was later used as a canteen for the larger mills on the opposite side of the Eagley Brook. It is Listed Grade II and was converted to cottages in 2003. This idyllic setting was once a major hive of industry.

Brook Mill, Eagley - 8
View from the south west. There was previously another multi-storey building on the site in the foreground. Through the picture runs the Eagley Brook which would have provided the power for the original mills on the site before the introduction of steam power.

Eagley Mills - Brook Mill
This was the former No. 3 Mill that was built in 1871 and rebuilt in 1887 after a fire. It was converted to apartments in 2003 and is Listed Grade II. There is a very impressive engine house at this end with an unusual tall, gabled projection towards the photographer.

Brook and Bridge Mills
When the site was at its height, there was another mill to the right of Brook Mill (left) which would have completely obscured Bridge Mill in the background; the modern car park site was also completely built over.

Footpath at Eagley
Connecting Eagley Brow with Eagley Way, the path would have been a direct route from Eagley to Eagley Bank, and would have been used by those workers at Eagley Mills who lived at Eagley Bank.
