Talbot Woods: hedge and bus on a snowy Talbot Avenue
Partly obscured by the central reservation hedge, we look from queuing traffic on the eastbound carriageway towards a westbound no.6 bus, on its journey from Bournemouth town centre to the northwestern suburbs. Overnight we had the town's heaviest snowfall for 17 years

Winton: postbox № BH9 175, Talbot Road
A George V-reign postbox in the quieter section of Talbot Road, now that the main carriageway has been diverted to the roundabout a little south, as shown on the map. This was done about 20 years ago.

Talbot Woods: flooding on Talbot Avenue Roundabout
Torrential rain this morning brought chaos to Bournemouth town centre and pockets of inconvenience all across the conurbation. Here we see flash flooding on Talbot Road Roundabout, which is set on such a slope that only one quarter is really affected.
Already as we look at it here, the water has begun to recede and it would be clear by teatime when I next came through.
