Throop: Willow Mead
A small, modern housing development off Broadway Lane. A public footpath once led from here to Throop Road, but it now starts at the bend in the road ahead.

Throop: footpath K26 arrives at Willow Mead
This public footpath originally went to Broadway Lane, the main road ahead, but since this modern development was built it terminates here, Willow Mead now being part of the public highway.

Throop: footpath K26 from Willow Mead
This public footpath heads for Throop Road and originally did so from Broadway Lane, the main road behind us. Since this modern development was built it terminates here, Willow Mead now being part of the public highway.

Throop: the shadow of a wall on footpath K26
Looking westward along this public footpath towards Willow Mead. The time of day means that we have a narrow shaft of light along the course of the path, between the shadow of the left-hand wall and under cover of the overhanging hedge on the right.

Apparently public open space in Throop; popular with dog-walkers (evidence in photo), and from hoof prints, with riders. Difficult to say more, as no signage is evident.

Throop: slightly leaning brick wall alongside footpath K26
Looking eastward along this public footpath towards Throop Road. From the photo it is difficult to tell which wall departs from the vertical, but I think it's the farther one.
