The Riverside at Tuckton
This pub/restaurant is right beside the River Stour, and is very popular, especially during warm summer weekends. It was a Brewer's Fayre establishment, but changed ownership in 2007 to the Mitchells & Butlers Group.

Art nouveau at Tuckton Bridge
The decorative supports to the poles holding the overhead wires for the trams, and later trolleybuses, were necessary because the poles had only a short length below pavement level. Sadly the attractive ironwork disappeared following the closure of the trolleybus system. The trolleybus is 285, one of a series of similar vehicles built between 1959 and 1961, including the last trolleybuses built new for service in the UK. It is on its way from Bournemouth to Christchurch. For a slide show of British Trolleybuses in the late 60s http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=1773236&displayclass=slide
