St Peter's Church, Ashley
This is a Church of England church. The foundation stone for the building was laid by the Bishop of Winchester in 1956, and work was completed in 1957. A new addition, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, was consecrated in December 1958 by the Bishop of Southampton. A new church hall was built in 1966, and a house for the minister in charge was completed in 1973. An extension to the church was added in 1994.

Railway Tracks at Ashley
These are the tracks of the main line between London and Bournemouth. The nearest station is at New Milton, about a mile away. The bridge in the middle distance carries a footpath, no doubt originally between farms, but now connecting housing developments either side of the tracks.
