Ashley: post office
Ashley's post office will close in February 2008, along with sixty others in Hampshire. This view will probably not change at all apart from the removal of the familiar red oval sign. The post office had previously been within a general stores across the road from here.

St Peter's Church, Ashley
This is a Church of England church. The foundation stone for the building was laid by the Bishop of Winchester in 1956, and work was completed in 1957. A new addition, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, was consecrated in December 1958 by the Bishop of Southampton. A new church hall was built in 1966, and a house for the minister in charge was completed in 1973. An extension to the church was added in 1994.
