The temporary notice says "Car wash Ringwood Fire Station 27th May" and, I presume, refers to a fun fund raising event.

Streets Toy Shop, Christchurch Road, Ringwood
Founded in 1915, closed in 2011. One of the problems, it seems to me, of shops along this stretch of Christchurch Road, is that the footfall here is now rather low compared to Ringwood High Street. It is also a very busy road with few obvious parking places.
