Ringwood: the High Street in December
Looking eastwards along the High Street on a Sunday afternoon a week before Christmas. Ringwood is large enough to have small branches of some of the well-known stores, such as WH Smith and Boot's, and it is only these bigger names which are open.

Ringwood Fisheries & Pattersons Butchers, High Street, Ringwood
At numbers 29 to 31 High Street. The fish monger was originally opposite in number 36. Both are of very long standing (being there in the 1950s) in Ringwood and owned, I think, by the same family. See also Image
