Inside Grove Copse
This copse covers a tiny area in a residential part of Christchurch. Nevertheless, it is an important part of nature conservation, and is maintained by the local council's countryside service, using mostly volunteer help. The copse is the remains of the Grove Farm Estate, and is estimated to have been wooded for at least 200 years.

Jumpers: postbox № BH23 74, Canberra Road
This George VI-reign postbox stands at the crooked corner of Canberra Road opposite the turning of Elm Avenue. It is a well painted specimen, catching the evening sun rather brightly, giving it a shadow twice the width of the box itself. Its last collection occurs at 5:15pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays.
