Christchurch: Stourvale Post Office
This post office branch used to be in its own premises a little farther west along Barrack Road, but moved into the back of this convenience store 10 years or so ago.

Christchurch: postbox № BH23 21, Barrack Road
This postbox was probably moved to this location, outside Image, about 10 years ago when the post office moved into the One Stop convenience store from separate premises a couple of minutes' walk along the road. It is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:45pm on Saturdays.

Old guardhouse, Christchurch Barracks
On the A35 Barrack Road, an incongruous sight. English Heritage listed, probable date 1792. Note portico with cast iron columns, clock tower & weathervane. What would C18 squaddies have made of its current use as a salon?

Jumpers: postbox № BH23 41, Grove Road West
Above this George V-reign postbox, we look along Avon Road west from the junction with Grove Road West. There are the reciprocal 'Easts' for both roads, which meet similarly. The box is emptied finally at 5:30 on weekday evenings and at 12:15 on Saturday afternoons.
