Christchurch: postbox № BH23 100, High Street
This large, Elizabeth II-reign postbox stands towards the northwestern end of the High Street and has last collection times of 5:30pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on Saturdays. If it is Saturday and you've just missed the last collection, the box which we see on the other side of the road is emptied fifteen minutes later! (See Image)

High Street, Christchurch
High Street in the town of Christchurch. The building on the opposite side of the road is known as the Mayor's Parlour. It is a replica of Christchurch's previous town hall, and dates from 1859. It is Grade II listed.

Christchurch - "Where Time Is Pleasant"
In the High Street is the Old Town Hall which is also known as the Mayor's Parlour. This attractive open-arched building was originally built elsewhere in the High Street and was moved to its present position in the mid-19th century.
