Knowlton: postbox № BH21 137
This postbox is just off the B3078 Wimborne to Cranborne road. I seem to recall that it used to be on the other side of the main road – and large scale maps bear out this suggestion. The position on this side seems far more convenient for all concerned!

Knowlton church and earthworks [3]
An information board by the church. A Norman church, was built in the 12th century, at the centre of a Neolithic ritual henge earthwork. The unusual pairing of the henge and the church symbolises the transition from pagan to Christian worship.
