The steps are ancient, but the cross was erected to mark the sixtieth year of Queen Victoria's reign in 1897. Behind is the village post office and Ginger Pop.

Pump by the market cross, Corfe Castle
In the square in the centre of the village, in front of the market cross. The pump has a timber case, with lead spout, and is decorated with the town's seal. There are several other similar pumps around Corfe Castle, non are functional.
