Hamworthy: postbox № BH15 42, Blandford Road
This large postbox stands outside Image and dates from the more recent end of the Elizabeth II reign – we can tell because the words 'Royal Mail' replaced 'Post Office' on boxes after 1994. It is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:30pm on Saturdays.

Hamworthy: Hamworthy Junction Post Office
Looking squarely into the sun across the corner of Blandford and Lake Roads, we see this post office, named to distinguish it from the former Hamworthy Post Office further southeast, which has served the area since early 1926. Hamworthy Junction is the former name of Hamworthy railway station, a little northwest, when the branch line down the Hamworthy peninsula was operational.
