North Street and Beech Hurst, Poole
Beech Hurst is a house built in 1798 in Poole town centre. It overlooks the junction of Poole High Street and North Street. The house was built for a shipping merchant. It is now Grade II* listed. More information about the building can be found on the British Listed Buildings website.
North Street, in the foreground, is on route 25 of the National Cycle Network.
This image was taken on a December afternoon. The ship in the centre of the image was one of Poole's Maritime Lights on display for the Christmas season. Another of the lights, in the shape of a blue whale, is visible to the left.
