Old Town, Poole: Old Guildhall, Market Street
At one time it overlooked the Market Place, and of that time is the now closed off arcaded market area of the ground floor. Dated 1761, and built for John Gultson and Col. Thomas Calcraft, MPs for Poole. Grade II* Listed. http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=412555&mode=adv

Looking along Market Street towards the historic Guildhall, which is nowadays the Poole Register Office. Its stone steps thus often feature in wedding photographs.

The Angel and The Guildhall
The Angel pub is right outside the guildhall, which I'm sure has been appreciated over the years.

Poole's registry office is housed in the town's former guildhall. The building dates from 1761.
