At one time it overlooked the Market Place, and of that time is the now closed off arcaded market area of the ground floor. Dated 1761, and built for John Gultson and Col. Thomas Calcraft, MPs for Poole. Grade II* Listed. http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=412555&mode=adv A very fine example of a Georgian guildhall.
