Poole, railway footbridge
Attractive cast-iron footbridge over the railway line in Poole High Street. According to its legend, built by Ransomes & Napier, London, 1872. Note that most pedestrians prefer to wait till the crossing opens, rather than climb a few steps. The train is to Farnborough Image; note also Xmas decorations, CCTV & warning lights.

Poole: postbox № BH15 300, High Street
This double-aperture postbox stands on the corner of High Street and Kingland Crescent – both pedestrianised – and opposite WH Smith, which houses the town's main post office. The box is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 1:45pm on Saturdays.
In the background we see a train crossing the High Street at the level crossing.

Poole : The High Street
A busy High Street where a man is selling wiggly snakes. As I walked past he wiggled one in my face, and me being a grumpy old man (at the age of 21) was not approving.
The Cornish Bakehouse is here too, and one bloke is really enjoying his pasty.
