Bournemouth: sunset behind a building with a flag
Today's sunset was a surprising occurrence since we had had a lot of showery rain and even some prolonged hail storms today. Here we look west, towards the town centre, from the East Cliff as the sun descends behind a large town-centre building with a flag flying from its roof.

The recent landslip on this part of the cliff line has necessitated in the fencing off of the affected area, including the cliff lift.

Bournemouth: truncated corner of zigzag path
The second (on the way down) corner of the Image suffered from a landslip several years ago, necessitating a slight rerouting of the path. It is now unsuitable for wheelchairs and, in the winter months, when the adjacent Image is not running, the alternative route is quite a trek!
