Junction of Long Lane and The Fairways
Ordnance Survey documents indicate that in 1957 a benchmark levelled at 188.799m above Newlyn Datum was verified on a gatepost at a track entrance here. That was before The Fairways was constructed.

Dwelling house, Bingley Road
Previously the site of Bobby Allen's hen run, the house was built by the quarry owner in about 1939 from the last of the stone in the quarry. Known as rotted sandstone, it gives the wonderful colours. A more recent image can be seen at Image
