Manchester Road railway station (site), Bradford, Yorkshire
Opened in 1878 by the Great Northern railway on its line from Bradford to Halifax, this station closed to passengers on the first day of 1916 and completely in 1963. View east towards the site of the street-level building which had steps behind down to an island platform. The site has been completely redeveloped but the railway tunnel is apparently still underneath the road. For more information, see http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/m/manchester_road/index.shtml
