Topless Bus in Bradford Depot
First Bradford 37058 pictured after having an argument with the 10'6" (3.2m) high railway bridge on Mill Lane Image the previous evening. Fortunately it was running "Out of Service" back to the depot, so there were no passengers onboard. The roof was on the ground behind the bus. The other buses in view are 37732, (named Stanley King), in the old Bradford City Transport colours & 37501 beyond.

Ex-GC class 9F (LNER N5) 0-6-2T at Bradford (Hammerton St.) Locomotive Depot
One of the standard GC shunting tanks, No. 9253 (here still in wartime livery with 'NE' on its sides) was one of the first, built 8/1893 as GC No. 518 (LNER No. 5518, 1946 No. 9253), withdrawn 11/55. (See also Image]).

Ex-GN Ivatt N1 0-6-2T's at Bradford Hammerton Street Locomotive Depot
Nos. 9459 and 9479 were two of the many N1 0-6-2T's then used for various local services from Bradford Exchange, to Halifax, Keighley etc. In 1947, Hammerton Street (or Bowling Junction) Locomotive Depot was allocated 50 engines:- 1 0-8-0, 8 0-6-0, 20 0-6-2T and 21 0-6-0T.
