Lodge and gateway, Sutton-in-Craven
A remarkable display of Victorian OTT-ness, once heralding the local mill owner's pile, Sutton Hall, now heralding the innocuous modern housing that has replaced it. The ensemble consists of a pair of lodges, turrets and battlemented gateway. Built c1893. Grade II listed.

Old Cottages in Sutton
Stone built cottages in West Lane, Sutton in Craven. These are possibly the oldest surviving houses in the village, dating from the mid 17th century. The old part of Sutton is tucked into the hillside, with the Victorian mill village spreading into the wider valley below.
