A remarkable display of Victorian OTT-ness, once heralding the local mill owner's pile, Sutton Hall, now heralding the innocuous modern housing that has replaced it. The ensemble consists of a pair of lodges, turrets and battlemented gateway. Built c1893. Grade II listed.
