Unusual building, Dock Lane, Shipley
This unusual building, like a garage but with a chimney and a clock, is adjacent to the disused canal pumping station
Image but looks much more recent.

Junction Bridge, Shipley
There is a small dock to the left, and I believe this was the entrance to the branch which led into Bradford. The branch is blocked by the embankment of the railway, but it looks as though there was once a bridge there (which may be buried now).
Looking west.

Shipley & Windhill railway station (site), Yorkshire
Opened in 1875 by the Great Northern Railway as the terminus of its branch from Wakefield, this station closed to passengers in 1931, and completely in 1968.
View north from Leeds Road at the former forecourt. The single platform was behind the building.

Dock Lane railway bridge
The bridge is very narrow (probably only about 10 feet including the footpath) and with a headroom of only 9 feet 3 inches (3.03m) effectively closes the road to all but small vehicles.

Bridge TJC3/45, Dock Lane, Shipley
Not only is this bridge very narrow and very low, there is also a sharp, blind bend at the other side.
