This appears to be 'sheltered housing' and is part of the council development at The Knoll. There was formerly a house here called Wood Cottage.

This wood is in the grounds of a Victorian mansion called The Knoll, now demolished. In the lower part of the wood at least there is an understorey of holly.

Salt's Mill, Saltaire
Hardly an original angle but it is a monumental chimney. Sadly, its ornamental cap is long gone. There is a painting in the mill showing it before it was circumcised.
