Cycle lane, Primrose Lane
Just north of the junction with Crosley View, a short stretch of cycle lane is provided for uphill traffic. Current cycle design standards suggest that the car parking bay should be between moving traffic and the cycle lane, but the guidance hasn't been followed here.

Lodge to Milner Field Farm
Farms don't usually have lodges, but this was part of Titus Salt's Milner Fields estate built in 1871-1873, and the lodge was one of three at entrances to the estate. See Image for one of the others.

The path leads down to the former Dowley Gap Mills and no doubt would have been used by the mill workers in past times.
