Old LNER station name board, Cullingworth
The sign is in the grounds of the village school Image A nearby sign explains its history. It dates from 1925 when the LNER took over the station from the GNR. It was lost after the demolition of the station in 1964, found in the 1970s, restored in 2011 and presented to the school in 2013.

Cullingworth primary school
Old maps show the village school on the east side of Halifax Road. It has been replaced by this one to the west, part of the site of which was formerly occupied by the vicarage. The Vicar (or rather Team Rector) now lives in the nearby village of Harden.

Path round the back of Cullingworth primary school
The path serves as a link for walkers on the former railway line, who are diverted away from its route where the site of Cullingworth station has been taken over by an industrial estate.
