Great Northern Works, Furnace Road, Low Moor
The building seen here was originally a warehouse for an iron foundry, built in the 1860s, and was served by rail from the adjacent Bradford-Manchester line. It is now the home of "Steadfast", a joinery manufacturer. Grade 2 listed (list entry 1133167).

Reservoir, North Bierley
This is one of three in the valley of Toad Holes Beck. They are shown on the OS 6” map of c.1940, so were not built to store surface-water runoff from the surrounding industrial estates. That may well be their function now, however. The water level is surprisingly low considering the recent unusually wet period.
