Two years later this buildings looks much the same as it did in 2007 Image - derelict. No, we do not want more expenditure cuts. This was originally a school.

Platform 7 Cafe, New Works Road, Low Moor
Although it has a railway-related name and is close to the newly reopened Low Moor station, I expect this cafe gets most of its custom from workers at the chemical plant across the road.

Low Moor station: car park
A large car park has been provided at the new station, although with few cars present after the 18.06 arrival of the 17.35 train from Leeds, it suggests that not many commuters started using the station in its first week of operation.

Cleckheaton Road at Raw Nook, Low Moor
The fish and chip shop building was probably the caretaker's house for the school that was on the site of the new-looking houses. Beyond these there is a corner shop in the centre of an L-shaped block of terrace houses.
