The Alexander and Brewery Tap, Idle
Two adjacent pubs on Albion Road, Idle. The Brewery Tap is listed Grade 2 (list entry 1314683) "for the following principal reason: it is an interesting example of a probable-C18 vernacular building, extended in the C19 and converted into a public house in the 1980s, that retains features representative of its varied phasing and changes in use ".

Wright Watson Enterprise Centre, Thorp, Bradford
Idle Thorpe Wesleyan Methodist Chapel opened in 1810, was replaced on the same site in 1982 Image and closed in 2008. The present building is named after a local historian who belonged to the church and is buried in the grounds. It offers "library and archive services, business support, workspace and resources for fledgling entrepreneurs."
