Leeds Road at Crag Hill Road, Thackley ? 1971
Taken on the final day of trolleybus operation of the route from Bradford to Saltaire via Thackley and Shipley. By 2023 the buildings on the immediate right had been demolished to make way for new housing, but little else had changed. Trolleybus 782 is one of many second vehicles acquired by Bradford and fitted with new bodies. It is a Karrier W new to the Llanelly & District company in 1946, moving to Bradford in 1956 when the new East Lancs body was fitted. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. https://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=2114547&displayclass=slide
