Beehive mosaic in doorway of old Co-op building, Greengates
The old Co-op building stands right on the crossroads of New Line (A657) and Harrogate Road (A658). Built in 1931 it had beautiful tiled pictures of cows and sheep, etc. under the windows but these have now been painted over by the firm that now occupies it. This beehive mosaic is all that remains of the Co-op's decorative scheme.

Greengates bus terminus
This is the terminus of routes 35 from Leeds and 645 from Bradford (until a few years ago this was a through route between the two cities, numbered 670).

North end of Redcar Road, Greengates
Here, as it approaches New Line, the road splits to form a large bus turning circle that can be used to turn buses approaching from all three directions. This is the west fork (the east fork being out of frame to the right). At the time of this visit, it was used to turn daytime buses arriving via Redcar Road, which then departed to head back to Bradford city centre from the bus stop just right of centre.
