Trawden Arms and Post Office
Looking down Church Street, past the Post Office, towards the Trawden Arms.
The Trawden Arms (formerly the Rock Hotel) was built in 1895 on the site of a corn mill which had stood there since the 16th century. The licence was transferred from the Black Rock which stood at the bottom of Rock Lane http://www.trawdenonline.co.uk/tlife/history/history.html.

Trawden Arms
The Trawden Arms on Church Street was formerly the Rock Hotel. It was built in 1895 on the site of a corn mill which had stood there since the 16th century. Colne and Trawden Light Railway
The first tram in Trawden ran from Colne to the Rock Hotel on 22nd June 1904. This section, built 1905 is the last remaining piece of track. The last tram ran on 3rd June 1928.
