Old Milestone by the A682, north of Gisburn
Carved stone post by the A682, in parish of NEWSHOLME (RIBBLE VALLEY District), a mile North of Gisburn, near stream on longish flat road, on East side of road. Erected by the Gisburne & Long Preston turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Carved benchmark on back and rivet on top.
