Gateway on Duckshaw Road
The gateway has seen better days, and presumably is connected to The Lords Hall where Duckshaw Road terminates on a hillside overlooking the town of Darwen from the south.

Gully full of Big Berthas
Duckshaw Farm is in the ornamental trees at the bottom. I don't know the technical name of these flowers, but have always known them as Big Berthas. They would be considered very attractive if they weren't so prolific.
