Apartments - Preston New Road
Mixed development of apartments and houses on Preston New road. The buildings on the left of this shot are on the site of the demolished Moat House Hotel which was originally called The Saxon. The buildings to the right occupy the area where the Yew Tree Inn stood.

Thatched House
This is all that remains of the hamlet of Shackerley. In the Mid to late 19th century there stood Shackerley Toll Bar on Preston New road (A677) somewhere near the start of the track to here Image
