The old seat of law enforcement
Wincanton Police Station was ddesigned by Robert Shout of Yeovil and built in 1856. Note some of the carved stonework and segmental-pointed archway. Now residential after the police moved to a new site in the High Street in 2021, it remains an elegant building and is Grade II listed.
