High visibility patrols

Wincanton Town Police have noticed an increase in anti-social driving and speeding along the High Street and residential areas of Wincanton, particularly in the evenings. We will be increasing our patrols on the High Street especially on our late shifts to deter this manner of driving from re-occurring.

Wincanton Neighbourhood Policing Team have noticed an increase in anti-social driving of e-scooters. We will be taking measures to reduce this behaviour from re-occurring around the town. If you notice someone driving an e-scooter in an anti-social manner please report via 101, online report or 999 if it is an emergency.

Wincanton Town Policing Team have noticed an increase in anti-social driving/speeding in Morrisons car park. We are taking measures to prevent this manner of driving from happening, for example; pro-actively patrolling the area at the times this is occurring and conducting vehicle checks on those involved.

Wincanton Town Policing Team have noticed an increase in anti-social driving/speeding in Morrisons car park. We are taking measures to prevent this manner of driving from happening, for example; pro-actively patrolling the area at the times this is occurring and conducting vehicle checks on those involved.

We are continuing to conduct passing patrols around the area to deter this manner of driving from re-occurring. If you witness this manner of driving taking place, please call 101 or 999 in the event of an emergency.
