Templecombe station; statue
This statue in the garden is of a man supposedly tearing pages out of a timetable and scattering them around himself.

Templecombe railway station statue
In May 2015, this is as near as passengers can get to the statue
located on the disused platform on the north side of the station.
The station footbridge which formerly gave access to it is locked.

Templecombe railway station
Templecombe in south Somerset is on the main line from London Waterloo (112 miles away) to Exeter (60 miles ahead). The next station in each direction is in Dorset: Gillingham behind the camera and Sherborne ahead.
In May 2015, trains in both directions use the platform on the left.
The other platform and the station footbridge are no longer in use.
