House at Wales
The hamlet of Wales is on the western edge of the village of Queen Camel. This lane is a dead end leading to Wales Farm from where a footpath, part of the long distance Leland Trail, leads west to West Camel

This dead end lane leads West from Wales Lane to the farms. At this point it carries the Leland Trail long distance footpath.

A small hamlet near Queen Camel is approached along Blackwell Lane. Of late, the local authorities are about to expand the main A303 in the area and are looking to use their powers as the work permeates the rural landscape.

Wales is closed to the A303
Wales Lane (and Traits Lane thereafter) connect to the A303 near Queen Camel in normal circumstances. However, major upgrading work on the busy main road is preventing through traffic.
