Concrete ruin
A sizeable concrete and largely windowless building has been left to fall into ruin, though it probably looked little better when it had a roof. Possibly it may have been connected with the nearby Ensleigh MoD site. Seen from just inside Kingswood School playing fields.

The footpath up to Soper's Wood used to run a little differently in the past. Today it seems to go straight up the hill instead of a bit of zig-zagging.

Just the job on a long climb
Half-way on the long and steep footpath from Woolley to Soper's Wood is a handy bench seat. Installed by the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens it must have been a real slog to bring it all the way here.
