Street: apple-tree sculpture at Clark?s Shopping Village
This sculpture of an apple tree, in the centre of the Clark's Shopping Village complex, represents all the hundreds of varieties of English apple, many of which are Somerset specialities. Among the memorable names on this side are Brown Snout, Slack-Ma-Girddle, Royal Drain, Honeystring, Fillbarrel, Summer Stibbert and Cap of Liberty.

Clarks Village, Street
Clarks Village is an outlet shopping complex which includes more than 90 shops. There are also coffee shops, refreshment stalls and a dining area shared by fast food chains. It is sited in the redundant Clarks shoemaking factory buildings. Clarks was established in the village during the 19th century but shoes are no longer manufactured there.

Street: centre of Clark?s Shopping Village
This popular complex of outlet stores is centred on the headquarters of Clark's the shoe manufacturers. The chimney of one of the original buildings overlooks the modern retail outlets as we look at it from the grassed, eaterie area in the centre.
