Wesley Road Methodist Church, Trowbridge
Viewed across a road named Newtown. The church occupies a corner site. Its longer side is around the corner in Wesley Road. Built in the Anglo-Italian style, the church was designed by W.J. Stent of Warminster and opened in 1872.

Grade II listed Newtown Primary School, Trowbridge
Viewed across a road named Newtown from the corner of Wesley Road. In view is the SW side of the school. A distinctive feature is the white pepperpot belfry in the centre of the roof. The school was built in 1900-1901 and opened on April 1st 1901. There are currently (2011) about 200 children aged 4-11 enrolled.
Grade II listed in November 1976.
