The Castle Place carpark is under scrutiny for patrols from the local policing teams to prevent ASB and will continue for the foreseeable.

• Westwood, BOA - 16.6% of Vehicles Speeding
• Shaw & Whitely – 13.3% of Vehicles Speeding
• Woodrow Road, Melksham – 10.4% of Vehicles Speeding

Speed Enforcement operated two sessions at Shaw Hill at A365 Folly Lane and caught 41 vehicles speeding. The roads in this area have a clearly displayed speed limit of 30 mph. The fastest vehicle was captured travelling at 49 mph.

Speed Enforcement operated at B3353, Whitely School, Whitely and caught 5 vehicles speeding. The roads in this area have a clearly displayed speed limit of 30mph. The fastest vehicle was captured travelling at 40mph. On the day in question, it was overcast with sunny periods.

Speed Enforcement operated at Shaw and Whitley - A365 Folly Lane and caught 18 vehicles speeding. The roads in this area have a clearly displayed speed limit of 30mph. The fastest vehicle was captured travelling at 48mph.
