Saw Close, Bath
Pedestrianised street: in the centre is the Theatre Royal, built in 1805. A Grade II* listed building, it has been described by the Theatres Trust as "One of the most important surviving examples of Georgian theatre architecture".

With the builders barely gone, the theatre is able to show off its new £3,000,000 refurbishment to the entrance foyer and Main House.
Bath was first granted the distinction of a Theatre Royal in 1768 by a special act of Parliament, and the 205 year old premises are now Grade II* listed.
