With the builders barely gone, the theatre is able to show off its new £3,000,000 refurbishment to the entrance foyer and Main House. Bath was first granted the distinction of a Theatre Royal in 1768 by a special act of Parliament, and the 205 year old premises are now Grade II* listed.
